Ahhh I can see where the confusion is with the very similar shirt cuffs.

However something needs clearing up, you say you were commenting on my wife's BB. Now is this a black bay she was wearing or big br**sts. Lmao

Probably just my sense of humour, but I read your comment and burst out laughing.

So there really was quite a few of us TRFers there, and I must have missed something because I can't work out how others know she was in red

I meant she was wearing a BB red as reported, had no idea she was actually wearing red... you have to believe me!

Big br**sts No mate never noticed I was referring the her black bay red (honestly )
I recall we had a chat about the 26/28/31mm lady DJ's. Curiously though I don't have a goatee beard ?(may have been unshaven ) I did try the deep blue on though

I knew you were, it's just that in other parts of the internet BB has an alternative meaning to what we all know it as (my friend told me, that's my story and I am sticking to it).

The ladies DJ's was the conversation, yes. Bizarrely enough when you tried on the D-blue and took your photo you managed to get my other halfs red dress and legs in the same shot.

I didn't make any purchases either although that DJ41mm Dark Rhodium is still calling me.

First thought I had too... in Fairness though, it was a good year for the Brits, and Europe more generally.

Brilliant to see another member made the Grand Pacific event, will get my pictures on in a second.

Congrats on the purchase, I was tempted by the black dial on oyster.

Had a great evening in Manchester on Thursday,

First time for me attending this event and was a guest of Mappin & Webb. The venue choice was Can only recommend Grand Pacific to others if ever in the area and wanting to try somewhere different.

Its always fun to try on watches and be around like minded people. Was really surprised at the weight of the new Daytona on Oysterflex, What an amazing piece, supported by its hefty price tag.

Enjoy,

Enjoy,

I totally forgot about the WG Daytona

You know the more I look at the SkyDweller with the white face the more I think I want that one instead of the blue I have on order!

We really liked what they have done with the decor at Grand Pacific as we used to go sometimes when it was Room.

My wife tried on a bit of bling on the night...

There was plenty to purchase as well. Although impossible it would have been great for all local WIS to attend and soak up the atmosphere and watches on show.

There was plenty of models I have never seen before in the metal that I could try on.

It was interesting, when speaking with one SA from the Mappin store. He noted they are only expecting 3-4 SS SkyD this year. Thats not of each colour but as a model full stop.

Hopefully they pull something out the bag for one of us.

If they are going to restrict supply like this again then don't start the old sticker and warranty card crap. Can't have it both ways, they have to accept greys will benefit the most from this policy... I hope you told them.

Hmm...let's hope we got on the list in time for this years allocation. Did you prefer the white or blue SkyDweller?

With regards to the SD43 our rep said that the list was not that long but they don't expect one till August/September

Never had the chance to try on the blue dial, it was hot property on the eve and hardly in the display case. I had gone with the intent to show interest in the black dial but the white did cause me to question myself, from the pictures above you can see its a fantastic looking timepiece and very legible.

With any of the new Sky-D you cannot go wrong, even two-tone
