If it only had a date ....
Tried on the new Daytona Strap Rose Gold. Nice weight and fit. Horrible photo but all I had time for, had to get it off my wrist. ;-)

They are starting to appear at ADs I take it?
Nice, besides I don't need no Stinking Date.

I do love a white dial, but I don't like the new bezel. The lack of date on my Daytona has never bothered me.

looks awesome. I think the ceramic bezel goes better with a black dial though.

I love the Daytona but will not own one because there is no date. Very nice watch though.

IMO the ceramic bezel only goes well with a black dial. Seems off with the white dial.

If it had a date it might be a Tudor.

I think the ceramic bezel really works on a Daytona, but I agree with the previous posters, it would be better looking on a black dial.

I'm not sure if the new ceramic bezel will ever appeal to me on Daytona...

I need to know the date many times throughout the day but the date presents itself on Windows when the cursor is scrolled over the time at the bottom right of the screen, there is a date displayed on my phone, the date is on the newspaper I read in the morning. With that said, I love my Daytona even though it is the only wristwatch i own without a date. Perhaps that's part of what makes it special.

I'm looking forward to seeing one in person, don't care much for it in pics.

Did I miss something? When did the daytona come out with a ceramic bezel?

The white dial doesn't sing at all for me,But i would guess the chocolate dial on the other hand will be a huge it on the market...quite a stunner imo
And from what i could see when i was playing with it the other day it would be possible to have a bracelet mounted on it as the endlinks was in two removable pieces.

I know its crazy but as I tried on a WG Panda a few weeks back in Harrods, even though that watch really sang to me, the lack of date was just holding me back. In fact, it's still annoying me now as i love the watch, the history and iconic status. But for me, on a brand new and pretty damn expensive watch, it's pretty much essential to have a date and probably why I will never own a new Daytona.
I can handle vintage no dates but new....come on... Even just thinking about it annoys me......If Omega can offer the traditional Speedmaster model AND newer models with dates and other extras, why cant Rolex branch out. Maybe I've just sparked another marketing opportunity for Rolex..... But that Tudor Chrono of yours DP looks damn fine Must get on to that |

I DON'T want a date on my watch anymore. I just want it to tell the time. I'm going back to the philosophy of K.I.S.S - Keep It Simple Stupid

Not having a date, overly expensive, nope - no Daytona for me. Nothing about it sings to me.
