Agree - the blue GV is ridiculously hot, but I can wait a few years before I start eyeing that beauty.

Excellent! The Milgauss is the perfect addition to your Sub and ExpII. How about a family picture?

Oh, Wes... the SubC ND is long gone. I wanted to love it but it just sat in its box. Lonely as ever. Maybe one day I'll get another Submariner, but I've grown fond of the more unique Rolex references. I'm extremely happy with my Explorer II and Milgauss. The Explorer II is without a doubt, the best daily I've owned since my Omega 2254.50. And the Milgauss will be perfect as a very fun watch for in between.

Here's the bosom buddies.

Yellow is a subtractive primary color. Subtractive colors are those in which reflected light is used to produce colors. The subtractive primaries are red, yellow and blue. These are the colors that are mixed in paints and inks to produce other colors.

The additive primaries of red, green and blue are the colors used to produce other colors using emitted light, like in TVs, monitors, and stage lighting.

So green AND yellow are primary colors. They also is not.

Ahh, that's too bad. I know you were thinking of parting with it. Oh well, if it no longer sings to you, you have to let it go.

Your duo looks great. Enjoy them!

I was wondering if anyone was going to catch on to that - that both are considered correct - and debate the color spectrum - but my idea failed... and only a few got it. Guess I was feeling a little too geeky today.

You're thinking of subtractive color systems. The most common additive color system is based on the primaries red, green and blue. The text you're reading now is being displayed on such a system. Get out your loupe and you'll see lots of little green dots.

There are an infinite number of possible color systems with different primaries and different gamuts.

Flavio, that's a really touching thing to say - you're an awesome guy too along with so many others. I really enjoy hanging out and talking watches and just having fun.

BTW, the SD4000 bezel is exactly as you stated when the release information and pics came out, along with the threads.... Forget the marketing, that bezel is WAY too busy!!!

I'm going to pick up the little guy in about 20 minutes. I'm still debating on showing this to him or not. I know his little eyes will just light up and his curious mind will be like "Oh, my... I like green. It's so eye catching just like my Green Goblin action figure."
