Here's a few macro pics in case anyone need a reference in future.
Adam , you have the skills, factory can t do it better

Looks like a job well done (excellent, actually!!!!).Adam, I'm proud of you and you certainly have a bigger set of cahones than I do. It looks PERFECT!!! Are you thinking of starting a second career in watchmaking? From the look of your work you certainly could! Way to go, my friend!!!!

Thanks very much everyone. A day later, and it still hasn't fallen off yet.

Ken, thanks for the kind words, but this is the start and the end of my flirtation with the outer fringes of watchmaking!

I'm very impressed with this DIY job. Well done Adam.

If only it were as easy to remove a cyclops!

Looks great, but I have to play devil's advocate.

It appears that the date window is taller than wide; are you sure the cyclops orientation should be horizontal and not verticle..?

The original Monte Carlo chronos had horizontal cyclops at 6:00, you devil.

Yes, mine and the original 7033 have a horizontal cyclops.

Wow great work Adam. Something about the proportions seem much nicer with the cyclops. Nice attention to detail going horizontal too.

Thank you. I'm pleased to say it's still attached one month on. I can't think why Tudor left off the Cyclops as the THC really seems to cry out for one, aesthetically, practically, and even historically.

That is one clean job. Just think: Tudor might see it, and like it so much they adopt it for future models. The Rolex side will call it the Cyclops, and the Tudor side can call it the Adam's Eye. History is being made!

Haha. It seems, though, that Tudor has completely abandoned the Cyclops now. I can't find one on any of their current watches. Some kind of "company policy" is the only reason I can think of as to why they didn't put them on the THC.

Adam, great job!

But I did not see it mentioned; did you use the sun or a UV lamp to set the adhesive?

Also, any reason not to use rear view miror adhesive? That is basically CA and does not require a UV lamp (although I would not be suprised if it is somehow UV cured based on the location, inside the windshield).

I love this (and the original more) but I'm all-in for a cyclops as well as Rolex crown and pushers, whch you mentioned... If the case crown tube and pusher threads are the same (and I suspect they are), that would be an easy swap actually...

Thanks Jim. I used sunlight to set the glue. UV glue was recommended and comes with a precision applicator.

Thanks for clarifying that.

I had heard that the sun isn't intense enough to set UV glue, that it had to be more intense from a light.
