Picked this up in a trade....Guess I have a decision to make.

To peel or not to peel. Clasp is still fully stiff . I don't know if I have the heart. It will probably go in the safe for a while and I'll just oogle it occasionally. But damn.....So nice.

I don't really understand the point in putting rolexes in a safe and hoping the value will go up. Especially for someone like you who can't keep a watch longer than a month. PEEL

Nice socks.

Appreciate it by wearing it, or flip it to someone who will.

Sure, it may appreciate a bit sitting in the safe, but you'd do better buying S&P futures.

Nah, no reason to keep that in a safe. I believe it's a WRISTwatch, so you can infer where it belongs.

Lol. I took it in a trade and I'm just messing with you guys. Thought you might appreciate some pics. I'll see if it grows on me but I flip often so I'll probably leave it stickered until I really decide

Watches are meant to be worn not to be placed in a safe. What's the point of owning a watch if you wont use it? Do you buy your dream car and let it sit on the garage?

That was my first Rolex and the watch that got me into this whole mess. It's a great piece but I like the six digit models better. Hope you enjoy it!

Guys no need for the negative comments about not wearing it. I was half joking. I just picked it up in a trade to help someone out so I'm not sure I'll be keeping it as I wasn't particularly looking for it. Just thought I would share some pics.

do not peel. You will be getting rid of it in two weeks anyways, and you'll take a hit if you peel.

Your money, your rules

You love the flips and so do I. Leave the stickers on unless you're going to marry it!

I would love to wear that thing around ! Gorgeous.

Love that feeling of a stiff bracelet!

Time to peel off those stickers and get it on the wrist!

Come on guys. While we may not view watches the same way he does, that doesn't mean we should berate him.

I personally like to develop a bond with my watches, but to each his own.

How many times have you flipped and posted about it on here? 50? 100?

You're telling us that that you usually break even or make money??

Agreed...I'm all about peel and wear, but this one is more of a collectible at this point. Unless keeping it for certain, I don't think I'd peel. It'd be an expensive peel, particularly when you already flip things you like and this one is just "ok" to you.

He would not have gotten it in this condition if it did not sit in someone's safe for a while though.

I usually break even or make a little these days and have some fun in the process. The more I flip the more I understand about price points and what things are actually worth so i tend not to overpay.

That is good decision.. no point in removing stickers hastily and then selling in a month for $2-3K loss! Think for a while and then if you plan to keep it, you can remove the stickers!!
