SS Skydweller or SS Daytona C

Debating between these two. What are the general thoughts? Thanks

Depends on your collection, although I'd go with a Daytona

Try them both on as the skydweller wears much larger and thicker. Two very different pieces. Daytona would be my preference but if that means paying a substantial premium, maybe skydweller now and Daytona later.

Daytona. Sky Dweller new watch honeymoon phase will be over in a week.

Daytona by a mile. I respect the SKD but have no desire to wear one.

I have the non ceramic Daytona, and love the way it wears. But I am a fan of the new SD and would consider swapping my BLNR for it. I am not sure that it is such an easy decision between the two you are looking at. My Daytona actually wears a bit small so I think it really depends.

Skydweller for me if it came in 40mm. I have more use for its complication than I do a chronograph.

I saw the new SkyDwellers today at Baselworld, through a glass display window, and it is a big, hefty looking watch. The steel version makes it a more usable piece and the complication is a nice feature, I really like it.

Toss up. The SS Sky Dweller is a tremendous value as far as luxury watches go.

I have my 116500 but if offered an even trade...id pass up and keep my Daytona.

for me who has a PM ceramic daytona i'd rather have a skydweller in stainless steel.
definitely better than getting a daytona in steel - forcing me to buy the PM SKD.

lol rather not.

You may be able to get the skydweller first. I'd take the Daytona

Joking aside, Daytona.

Which function would you have more need of? Chronograph or GMT/AC.
