Bracelet for Seamaster 300 2265.80

Hello Everyone - The first watch I ever purchased was a 2265.80 and I wore the heck out of it. After "upgrading" to a Planet Ocean, my AD offered to buff the scratches out of the clasp on the 2265.80. After about 15 minutes in the back room, he hands me my watch and it is completely polished. Took away the nice brushed finish and while many people say it looks great, I'm a purist and can't stand to wear it anymore. I don't like the polished look on this particular watch.

I complained and got a great deal on a new Tag, but I'd like to get the bracelet either refinished from Omega or purchase a new one to make this look like new. Does anyone know what model number the bracelet is, or where I could find one online? I've found some that are in the $700 range (I don't think I want to spend that much).

Here's an image of what it should look like:

And here's what it actually looks like:

I guess I'm wondering if I sent it in for service, if they could get it looking like new, or if I'd be better off buying a new bracelet?

Send it to service.

It's a great looking watch. I believe you will get it back looking as it did new. But make sure it's via omega.

A service should do the trick! Sometimes you'll find those online if you wanted one in the future.

That's a beautiful piece and Omega service will restore it to its original finish which will probably cost about the same as buying a new bracelet!

The bracelet should be the same as the Automatic model 2255.80 which is the 1610/930. and is still available through Omega.
