It would be between the EXP2 and the BLNR for me...as you're crossing time zones and all. Flip a coin.

Thanks for all the replies. Going Explorer II for pretty much everything and BLNR for dinners and casino. Just can't seem to get away from the Rolex's, even when others may be a better choice. May have to trim the collection down to 3 (cannot part with my late father's Bell & Ross).

Beat the heck out of the Explorer II, but it lived up to it's name! Went on an ATV trip, diving and jetskiing. Didn't skip a beat! Wish I had some better dive pics of it, but this is as close as I got.

I would say PO and BLNR.

I have the exact same PO model and it's my vacation watch. Goes anywhere and does anything and not as much to lose if the worst should happen.

BLNR for all the nice things on board.

Bring your best, BLNR for the finer events and your least, Citizen for the more active events.

If only 1 watch, then I would go with the Exp II.

PO for diving and watersports. BLNR for everything else.

Puerto Rico is lot of fun , esp. old San Juan. Don't worry about the watch, take proper Zika precautions and have fun.

It's on these occasions that you really wish you had a SubCLV "Hulk". Perfect vacay watch.

But, since you don't, I'd go exp II and BLNR, of course. One for day and one for night.

I vote BLNR only. It can be worn with a swimsuit and with a sport coat!

Chaps

Being retired I probably take more holidays than 99% of the worlds population.

I always aim for 24 weeks abroad plus ad hoc days in the UK.

The only advice I would offer is when away from home, take just one watch with you and wear it 24/7. That way you can forget about security issues on the 2nd watch.

Hiding the watch in a sock and leaving it in a hotel drawer or even using a room safe, just is not adequate, so why take the risk.

Regards

Mick

I'm guessing you're more at risk of loss or theft than most holiday makers however, I travel for work 24/7 and I hear ya!

I keep it in a CaseBuddi on my person (travel bag) and locked in the safe at the hotel....and if anything should happen, well that's what insurance is for.

BLNR and Exp II. Did pretty much the same cruise in December. It was awesome
. Enjoy it and do try Lizzy's bar rum punch on the beach at the St Maartens cruise terminal ! Great AD at the Barbados cruise terminal (the Royal Shop) - had a great selection and prices certainly better than Vegas.

I echo the retired gentleman’s comments above about only bringing one watch while on holiday. For security reasons. Why add that paranoia while you are supposed to be relaxing?

THAT SAID, you did ask for two watch picks, so if you are hell bent on taking two watches, it would be the Explorer II and the BLNR...hands down. EASY choice for me.

Exp II for daytime activities and BLNR for going out at night. But again, I'd only take one and it would then be the Exp II.

Have a great time!
