1966 GMT Pepsi - Refurb advice

I have found myself with a 1966 GMT “Pepsi”, which needs a complete refurb including replacement bracelet, crystal, winder and polish.

I accept that it will not be original, but I am dealing with what I have which has been a daily beater, and then left in a drawer for the last 20 years..

Could anyone please advise where the required works could be undertaken.

Many thank,

Alasdair

My uneducated advice would be to have the watch authenticated first. You could be dealing with a very rare and valuable piece and wouldn't want to detract from that. Best to be cautious!

Tread very carefully here.
Depending on provenance etc, it may be more valuable in it's present condition.

Photo's would be nice.

You can upload photos but they must be limited to about 150kb in size and not more than 1250 pixels in width.

There's nothing wrong with a daily beater ... as suggested above you should go slowly with what is potentially a very desirable watch.

If you go to the "go advanced" options, you can "manage attachments", which will allow you to attach images as long as they're not too large. I think you can also paste links from a hosting website (e.g. Imgur) if you're familiar with that.
