I just picked up a Canon SD900 (10MP) 2 weeks ago It's replacing a 5 year old Nikon Coolpix.

I miss using my Canon AE1 Program. Maybe I should drag it out, clean it up and go "old school".

I just picked up the Nikon P5000.
So far, very impressed with this little toy.

Just auto-macro, no light box, just snapped this one

Mercury 3.1 Megapixel Deluxe, it takes photos, record sound, take video, and also a web cam, it has memory Ram card I bought it for 100 Euros in 2003 and still using it, not so much good quality but comparing to its price it is good camera.

My new camrea is a Nikon D40x, and I'm still re-learning a LOT of stuff. Its way more flexible in its capabilities than I'm used to. Gotta get up close with the new watch! My other camera is a Cannon AE-1, whose lens cap reads "Official Camera of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games, Lake Placid". I tend to stick with what I know, and then learn to make it last. Anyone else enjoy older cameras, too? Fun!!

Nikon D70, with
Tamron 28-300 lens
Nikon 60 mm Macro lens
Nikon 50 mm standard lens

Also a Canon S400 that's reasonably decent for people pics.

What I want is a entry or amateur/professional dig SLR from Canon that has a 35mm film size CMOS sensor. The A5 has it but is too expensive.Waiting for the less expensive models with this feature.I already have the lense and the EX420 flash that I use with my film system.

Meanwhile,I use my wifes Canon A540 for posting pics here.I hate usung a Point and shoot camera.SLR is what I am familiar with.

The Canon 5D is dropping in price...it's actually under $3k USD now. I think when the replacement comes out, you can pick up one close to $2k. But it's going to a be a long time before you see a new model with a full frame sensor for under $2k.

It would be nice if Nikon made a full frame DSLR since all of my lenses except one are designed for full frame.
