A. if i lose it or it gets stolen im not replacing it at current prices no matter if insurance covers the new retail price or not and especially so if i have to wait.
B. I liked the fact the 12 was NOT the commodity watch when i first decided to get one, now prices are nuts. I wouldn't wear a Ceramic daytona for the same reason. I hate looking at my watches as investments as it makes it harder to enjoy them.

This is an unusal POV, most are pleased when the value of their watch goes up, gives you a warm feeling, the warm comforting blanket of easy resale. Much better than the reverse.
