Real or Fake? Seiko SBGM221

Hi All,

Someone is selling their GS GMT and the deal seems maybe too good to be true? Any opinions based on these pics? Thanks in advance!

This watch in the pictures is real. As of today, there are no GS replicas on the market which could offer this kind of optical quality.

Question is whether the seller actually has the watch. Ask for a picture of the watch, together with a smartphone, showing this thread on the display. Also ask for the possibility of trustee payment...

Omg, that was my watch and I took those pictures in my bedroom, whoever is pretending to sell that watch is trying to scam you, how do I know that? Because an interested “buyer” contacted me saying he was ready to purchase the watch but his brother was the one who was going to buy it so he asked for more pictures, I took those pics, send them to him and after 3 days we agreed to meet, since I live in Peru and it’s not that safe to meet even in public places with an expensive piece like that, I asked for identification before the meeting he then proceeded to block me on WhatsApp and never heard from him again.
I hope everything turned out ok for you.

Christian.
