The 'Beast' PAM193
Anyone got/had one of these?
Thoughts/experiences welcomed. Sounds like it doesn't wear as big as it sounds. I wear a 389 regularly. Cheers in advance. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk |

I'm a huge fan. Wore one for a while. I love huge watches, and this one doesn't sit as huge as you'd think (to your point).
A very cool watch, even though I never used the depth gauge. |

We'll, went and did it...
What do you get when your 389 becomes your office watch? You get something even bigger. I often say if you're wearing a Panerai it might as well be big. Go the 'Beast' :) Some quick pics from last night and today. This clearly isn't an everyday watch, and I have the option to return it, but this is proof to me that I'm still a 'collector' of watches as I have no need for it and it's pretty off the wall, but I'm going to keep it. The last pic is a better one for showing perspective i.e. how others will see the size versus how we see it from close up. |

Re size, it's 47mm diameter and 22mm depth.
Here are some side by sides with my 389. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk |

It looks amazing, but the 193 caseback says ‘120m’. Is that correct?

This article about the subsequent PAM307 gives some good insight into how the depth gauge module works https://www.horobox.com/en/review-de...gauge-pam00307 Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk |
