I would definitely do it myself. Good luck with your decision.

Personally I would not get that one and find a true 03' Mk1 Y series or early F 03' (preferably Y).

Here is a great link on them:

So this Rolex LV F4XXX it's a Mark I but not collectible?

Only Y series and early F series are the collectible Rolex Lv?

Usually I've heard the people to talk about Mark I, not Mark I serial Y or early F. I can understand that the Y series was the first one, but I guess that the important thing is that all the details to be a MarkI are in the dial.

Mark 1, Oval 'O', 'R' in 'Oyster' aligned with gap between left and right feet of 'R' in 'Rolex', '5 Ticks', Flat 4 (2003 Issue Models ONLY), From Y966xxx 19 September 2003 To F068XXX November 2003

Mark 1, Oval 'O', 'R' in 'Oyster' aligned with gap between left and right feet of 'R' in 'Rolex', '5 Ticks', Flat 4 (2004 Onwards) From F100000/F110000??? F Serial Late October 2004 To ???????

Regards

I am a huge fan of the LV so I say go for it. It seems others have chimed in about the money and while I think " collectibility" is something to consider I say condition and complete is more important to me. As long as the money is in line with the market.

Well, everything is ready for tomorrow. Definitely if I'll buy it I'll share some photos.

I hope looks perfect like in the photos.

Thanks!

I get the nostalgia of the old school watches from Rolex. However, I can't stand the bracelets as I feel they are very cheaply made. I personally wouldn't buy one.
