YES- I will eat my words!

After selling off my entire Panerai collection (few zeros, fivers, 111, 212, 233, 118, 116, 190, 55, 183, 390, 380, 360 & 25) hovering over 5+ years, I said I was DONE with the brand. After so many remix of all the various past DNA elements into newer models really made me look away. I said I would NEVER buy another Panerai.

Well... Panerai made me eat my words. I couldn't help the itch. You know the dilio... I just had to scratch it. Yes, I bought another one back so good bye... and hello again PANERAI!

It just looks too good with jeans and a t-shirt and so the hell with it, I am back with it!

I went through this very thing. It's such a great look that I missed it. Lets hope my wrist complies and finds this one agreeable comfortwise. CONGRATS. Don't make us wait too long

YES- I will eat my words!

Once you chew and swallow those words I predict you insert more words, another Panerai is in your future. This is the beginning of the rebuilding process...

Congratulations!!!!

Hahaha. That's why I haven't sold off my 372 - then I won't feel the need to get another.

I only have one panerai and sometimes I get bored of it and would think of selling. But I'm afraid that I will have sellers remorse so I just keep it and rotate with my other watches.

Welcome back. I was down to a single Panerai.... A 127 Fiddy. The 233 is a classic piece. Love the thinner 1950 case. I just broke down and have a 380 in transit.

The boomerang effect. Once you get past being caught up in the "Panerai is ruining the brand" propaganda and bandwagon, if you really loved the brand to begin with, you realize it is still the best thing going in watches!
Enjoy

I couldn't of said it better. The whole Panerai bashing is quite old and stale. Panerai still make great watches.

Yep...the funny part is that the more you peel back the onion, you begin to see that most of the forum hate was started by a handful of "collectors" and "flippers" who had fortunes tied up in the watches and were literally banking on the future sale of these watches. When Panerai began making more great pieces, which is what most normal consumers would applaud, they saw the value of the old stuff impacted.
From there, you began to see all the sheep who loosely follow the brand, begin to bash as well because it's what the cool kids were doing.

Exactly.

One of the things I love about Panerai is that EVERYONE doesn't have one and their production is relatively low. I don't want everyone to like them personally.

Fred,

Great choice!! Had one of those a while back and definitely miss it. I'm getting back on the Panerai wagon again as well. Been too long without one.
