It doesn't, and perhaps that's the point. Logic has left long ago in many ways.

Smells like desperation coming from the grey market.

I agree, I think this year was really one of the best years. I don't know the specific reason, but nearly everyone I know who was waiting in the list, received their GMTs =)

I believe they already did go up.
I was looking at the OP41 on the Rolex website and they were $200 or 3.5% higher than they were the last time I looked at them.
Unless that happened earlier than I was aware of.

not sure how Rolex plans to save 50% on its energy bills during the winter. no matter how cold it is outside, some minimum of energy is required to protect the internal pipes and the delicate machinery.

it’s a fake post about it going up in a couple of weeks again on top of the increase this year. The greys are just trying to push prices up

They didn’t. Last price increase in the states was Jan 2022.

Rolex is known for being meticulous, there are too many errors in this letter for it to be legitimate imo

Via clever math, like everything else these days. (Buy or sell some 'credits' and *poof* your company is "clean"!)

Grey's are well stocked if not overstocked. Such a stunt would not surprise me.

On this forum there are some who advocate buying grey now, but more voices that suggest waiting.

Let's see how the tide turns this winter.

Just that. I was thinking exactly the same while I was reading this odd “letter”.
