585 end links

Hi all, I am looking to purchase a set of 585 end links for my 1665. I was wondering if anyone of you have come across fake ones so far?

where should I buy it to be safe? Thank You

If you strike out elsewhere, you could try your nearest Rolex Service Center. You can still get many end links for vintage models from Rolex. I did this recently at the RSC in NYC, buying a new set of 571 end links for my 6263. You need to take the watch and bracelet with you, of course.

I bought 585s for my 1665, direct from RSC in Manhattan.

the only thing in hong kong is, RSC would need you to return your current end links to them. I am using the 580 now, so If I ask for a 585 they will take my 580.

Is it the same in the states?

RSC NY lets you keep your.
However, if you want a new bracelet they will want yours (unless you agree to pay a premium for the new one).

Take bracelet and watch minus endlinks.
