Hello From An Englishman
Hi,
I've had my own Rolex Submariner for the past ten years and am now trying to assist my son in his search for an Explorer 1 early 90s model as this is what he wants, I agree with his thoughts that it is a very discreet and classy Rolex which will look great on different straps/bracelet. So am here to read up and hopefully glean some useful info from this forum. Cheers guys

welcome to the forum ,,, i wear a mid 2000s explorer as a daily , better bracelet , and bling ring swung it for me over an earlier one ,,
look at lots , then decide , and as the saying goes ,,, buy the seller |

Welcome from a fellow Brit, albeit one living in the USA. The Explorer is a great choice. I prefer the tritium dial versions, love that tritium patina. Fantastic and versatile "lifetime" watch. Your son sounds like a smart kid. What is your avatar about. You ensconced at the MOD ?
