I've always liked the grain pattern of the dial

I think the term stealth is over used but applies. In this case unusual may be more accurate consequently it takes a while to appreciate it. I still need to look at it twice to figure out the time.

I have to say that complications for the sake of being complicated don't really intrigue me. Reading the hours in one place and the minutes someplace else fits that category for me. Also the watch (I don't recall which one) where the "hours" are 70 minutes long.

Agreed that the term" novelty" may be to flattering. The hassle factor reminds me as an American of my experiences trying to drive in the U.K. It is all vaguely familiar but different.

That said I like it enough to want to own it as part of a broader collection.

I enjoy wearing mine and the photos certainly don't do justice to this piece. I figured out to read the time very quickly but my friends and family members struggle to read the time at first glance.

This was the PP piece that drew me to the brand for some reason. I had only really heard of the grand comps, Calatrava, and Nautilus before falling in love with the regulator. When I started researching the regulator my eyes were opened to everything else PP had to offer.

Before falling in love with all the other offferings I honestly never pictured myself purchasing anything more expensive than a PM Rolex. Now Rolex is completely on my back burner and don't see myself buying many of their modern pieces in the future.

That brushing on the dial is just sublime.

Lovely watch, I'm not a regulator fan but this one is superb. I'd love a dual time complication in this style.
