Anyone else wonder where Panerai design direction is going???

They jumped in deep to the military style bronzos and submersible line, which was great.

What is this supposed to be? A modern fashionista, edgy, martini drinking line? They just dont fit with Panerai as a brand. I feel Panerai is desperate and trying to stay up with the Jones’s rather then sticking to their roots.

It should be set to be released in selected boutiques in the next couple of weeks. The blue is nice but it’s not nearly as striking as the 670/690 dials. The 932 is great, but it’s not the 690!

Thx Erik...that was my fear..... gradient dials are very difficult to make, if they look two tone it is not pleasant :(
would you have photos? ( unfortunatlely no fb account any more)

My only photos I posted on FB and then deleted. Please do not get me wrong...the 932 dial is beautiful....Its just not as special or striking as the 690 dial...it is a bit more understated, which some people will appreciate even more...

maybe someone else on here can post the comparison picture from my FB shot...

I can confirm that the 932 will have steel hands, not gold. I just received an image from my boutique and they're clearly not in gold.

Strange that it had gold hands in all the press release images

It looks washed out by the flash. 6 is more gold than 12. If you could, get the boutique to take another photo without flash.

Funny, they look gold to me in that picture

I have talked to my boutique contact and he says they're 100% not gold. And judging from the pictures he sent me they definitely look like steel hands.

I trust him regarding this. After all , he wants to sell me the watch (he knows I like gold hands)

Got some photos today and the confirmation that the hands are indeed not in gold :( that is it for me. I won’t buy it. So maybe the 690 or 689 if I get a good offer. What a pity. It did look really promising.

I think the watch looks gorgeous anyway. Probably would be too similar to the 690, that's probably why they changed it. Though you have to think why they would go out with hundreds of pics where it has gold hands. Miscommunication?
