Dj 41 too small or just right?

I have posted on here and need your advice. I posted that I felt that the dj 41 was a little small. I was told by many to try the dj 2. Does it really wear bigger? I know it’s 1.5mm bigger but can you really tell? I have found a great dj2 on Davidsw and he is super nice and cool. Would you add cash to go to a dj2 or is not gonna look much different. And I do love the jubilee but I wish it was a little larger and wish the bezel would be a little bigger. So either watch I’ll have to live with a compromise. And do you think you could wear a dj 2 rhodium diamond dial as a daily wear? I am a casual dresser but wear my dj41 all the time. I posted a pic of my dj41. Please let me know if it looks too small or just right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I plan on pulling the trigger or not in the next few days.

I think you wear it too tight, the size is fine.

or go for sd43 or D-Blue if you still have concerns

I feel like when I open the easy link it’s too loose and I like watches on the snugger side. Even like this the watch slides some and becomes off center.

It’s really personal preference, but I think it looks a little small on you. I do think the DJ2 will wear a little bigger and might be worth a look.

Also I don’t know if this is an option but a Sky dweller would look great on you!

That’s my grail watch and I would buy one now if I didn’t have to pay thousands over retail. I’m on a few list. No calls year and it’s been almost 2 years so I’m kinda losing hope. That’s why I thought the dj2 might be the closest thing for now.

Looks perfect- like someone already said you wear it too tight. Put a link on the bracelet and I bet it looks bigger.

Here is with the easy link out but now the watch turns around my wrist. I know the last one looked right but it actually had a little play in it too. I think it’s the jubilee band. I’m used to the oyster. Thanks

Looks great.
And DJ2 rhodium diamond dial is pretty blingy in a good way. ( my favorite as I see it on one of the sales people working for a kids AD and I love it)

It has every link it originally came with. I have to open the easy link then the watch slides every direction on my wrist. I know in the picture it looks tight but I can promise you the watch can slide up and down and becomes off center. I have meaty little arms wrist. Where the watch looks too tight on the bottom it actually is the way my wrist is shaped. I’ll take a picture. I know it’s weird but all watches will look tight on me because of this dip.

I see the dip you are talking about. I think because of the shape of your wrist, the DJ2 will look a little better. I think the oyster bracelet will help as well. Did you try the oyster with the 41? I don't blame you for getting the Jubilee, but the oyster may be the band for you. Maybe try on a 41 with oyster at the AD, and if it looks good, just order the band, especially if you are going to have to pay additional money to get the DJ2. That way you can have one watch with both bands

How does the person dress? I love the watch but I’m a little afraid it will be too hard to wear casual. I’m a casual guy 99 percent of the time. But at the same time I thought the same of the jubilee.

Unfortunately the AD told me once I pick one band that’s it. They are not interchangeable. I want to say the jubilee is like a 21 and the oyster is a 22. That was my original thought process. I bought the oyster first. But noticed it was a scratch magnet. Flipped it for the jubilee. But after a while I realize all watches will scratch so I’m open to the oyster again. It’s just a watch after all. Lol

Dj 41 too small or just right?

Here are some pics of my old dj 41 oyster. And because of the odd dip in my wrist this too looked like I was wearing it to tight but again I can assure it was loose. So I’m not sure if the bracelet alone will fix this issue. The 2 Tone was a little too in your face for me back then but now I don’t mind 2 tone as much. Funny how things can change in a year. But anyways do you think the oyster looks better? If yes I think I might pull the trigger on the dj ii rhodium diamond dial. Thanks for all the replies.

Don’t settle then, just keep your DJ41 while waiting for the SD. The DJ41 does not look bad in you!

I think the DJ41 looks a little small on you but it is a matter of personal choice. I own the DJ II with the Rhodium Diamond Dial and can tell you it is a cool watch that can be worn either casual or dress. It is comfortable and with the Easy Link system it works in a weather conditions as my wrist swells. Go for it.

I think it looks a little small on your wrist, you should be able to sport something bigger with confidence.

DJ 41 is vertically too small and width wise horizontally too big

Size wise, I’d say your DJ is the minimum for your wrist. But it’s fine as long as you’re comfortable with it.

As for tightness, I’d loosen it up a couple millimeters. I prefer slightly loose myself. My BLRO is overly loose at the moment because it’s (relatively) cold outside. I normally get half a pinky between my wrist and watch.

Do you think you can have this watch as a one watch only good for every occasion? I used to collect multiple watches but now I have a one watch collection.

That 41 on you looks like a 36 on many guys.
Looks fine, but larger would definitely be OK as well.

Since there’s no right or wrong answer, just preference, and you’re obviously not satisfied with the 41, get the DJ2 or wait for the SkyD. I think you’d be ultimately happier with the latter.

Dj 41 too small or just right?

Thank you all for the advice. I pulled the trigger on the datejust ii rhodium diamond dial. I loved the datejust 41 but it was just too small for my wrist. It’s amazing how much bigger the datejust ii wears. I love it. Most have commented that my old watch looked like a 36mm in my wrist. This is a proper 41mm watch. Got it from DavidSW. Highly recommend.
