Casio G-Shock GXW-56-1BJF

Does anyone know if they still make this watch in Japan? They have it on Amazon and a few other sites but the case backing says, "Made in China" or "Made in Thailand".

The last time I checked the G Shock Perfect Search ( GPS ) website early this yr (...or was it late last yr? Can't remember) looking for info on another old model actually, there wasn't any red notification on the GXW-56-1BJF web page meaning Casio G Shock has not discontinued production. If that is the case, then the watch should still be available in Japan going for something like US 260 bucks right ? Can you tell me the last 3 digits followed by an alphabet of the serial number on the backcase of a particular GXW-56-1BJF you have in mind that is Made in China or Made in Thailand ? I'll show you something really cool.....

The GXW-56-1BJF on Amazon does not have a picture of the back casing so I am sending you a link of one that does just a different color combination. The serial number on the back says, "304A144F".

Thank You Mr Rolex Man. Now I'm going to show you a magic trick. That watch was born on the 144th day of the year with a serial number ending with the alphabet F or year 2016 ( A= 2011 ; B=2012 ; C= 2013 ; D= 2014 ; E= 2015 , F=2016 ). Putting it in another way, that GXW-56-1BJF unit was made in China on Monday the 23th of May 2016

I am not sure about the 204A a the beginning of the Serial Number. :(
