It’s funny how tastes change. I remember being in Vegas in 2007. I quickly dismissed the 16610LV sub in the display case, considered the 16610LN as more versatile but thought it wore too big. Walked out with a two tone 34mm ‘Date’. (Yes, that happened. Ugh.) Loved it until my wife bought me a 40mm Hamilton and then it was all over for the two tone Date. It became too small. Only Rolex I ever sold. I do regret selling it a little but I couldn’t have purchased the 116710LN at that time had I not sold it.
I do love the 5 digits. They are perfect for my smaller wrist size and (very) conservative look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
