hulk pearl not aligned

evening gents,

i got a 116610LV hulk and something is wrong. as few have posted on the forums that the pearl is not aligned at the 12 marker.

this is because the basel ceramic and the basel frame are not aligned.

from al the videos online on how to remove the ceramic basel none of them is the same like the hulk one. i cant seem to find a safe way top remove the ceramic and put it back in but then straight.

my question is: how to remove the ceramic from the basel frame

Unless you have the proper tools, the ceramic insert is extremely difficult to remove without cracking it.

It is not considered a home DIY project.

Pretty common actually, I wish you luck but I don’t think your AD will be able to help without sending it in

+1

My AD told me it was an oddity they knew of, said considering how brilliant their gemsetting is, that they allowed it to happen.

Do be careful on removing the bezel, it may crack if not handled properly!

It is a 5min job for a watchmaker with the correct tools, done it hundreds of times myself.
If the AD has a watchmaker on site it could be done quickly.

I would not touch it, you can break it. When things go back to normal check with different AD's and a watchmaker can do it or send it to RSC. Be safe
