The altutude would have had a greater effect than velocity in context of an F18’s capability. Flying higher would shorten your life. You should have been a close air support pilot.

F*%& That! Those guys are nuts!!! Our SOP was never below Angels five (5,000 feet). I swear I saw A-10 pilots looking UP at their targets.

But then you have to factor in the debriefing sessions at the local watering hole, which would have a much larger effort effect on life span than gravity or speed.
