UPDATE

Watchmaker just called. Apparently the bezel will not fit with the current plastic crystal that is on the watch. He has to replace it with a newer, updated, sapphire crystal (Rolex). Gave him the green light. So looks like I'll be getting a sharper bezel and brand new sapphire crystal!!!!

Your watch is suppose to have a plastic crystal not sapphire... The original bezels for your model suppose to weigh around 2.5 grams... The newer ones are 5 grams...

Will not be original but if you're happy with the new look and not the vintage look then cool... hopefully he sends you a good magnification crystal and it won't be rolex original... Only aftermarket Crystal's are modified to change from plastic to sapphire, rolex don't sell those..

Yes sir, I am wanting a newer look anyways, that's why I purchased the bezel.

You specified rolex sapphire crystal (Rolex), just informing you no such thing...

Had no idea.... oh well. Will I be able to tell a difference? Good news is that I can always put the original parts back on at a later date if I decide to change it back up.

Just picked her up. I think it looks great! A lot sharper and a bit more pronounced. Also, I noticed the new sapphire is not raised as my old one was. Very happy with the new bezel!
