I feel like we’re more likely to poop a diamond out than buy ourselves a Rolex for Xmas

How did you land 2 hot pieces in 2 weeks?

Congrats on that!

I popped in my AD yesterday to pick up a pair of ear rings for my beloved wife. They had one sports rolex. The blue face WG Daytona. I tried it on. Loved it. 37 grand. Too much. I'm getting a rolex when ever I get the call. Could be 6 months, could be 4 years. Hopefully rolex will bring the fire next year and take peoples attention off the previously released watches. It seems the BLNR is getting slightly easier to get as I was offered one of those a few weeks ago but politely declined. My bank roll can only handle one five figure watch if I'm ever hoping to retire. Just a tip for those waiting. If you're not wealthy just enjoy the saving process while your name's on the list. I love looking at watches and have wanted a rolex for quite some time. I bought my wife one for her birthday a year and a half ago and she loves it. Take your time, save, and enjoy the thrill of the chase.

I just picked up a Platinum Daytona-C with the Diamond Dial. I guess that it is my Christmas present. Never thought about it that way but it works. Now I feel better about the purchase. Funny.

Daytona (White dial) ... and at MSRP ...

Only issue.... the AD has to call me within the next few days (if they receive one, which I doubt), so I can fly to get my present otherwise, it's just looking at pictures of it on Christmas morning lol.

Although, a little Christmas cheer came in November as well for me, so can't really complain too much...

This was my Christmas present to myself. I ended up getting lucky because it was a canceled custom order by another customer.

Two days ago the AD told me....I know I sorta promised a Blue Sky for Christmas but.....you can figure out the rest. I told him to call the main office and tell them I’m gonna flip the Pepsi they sold me this year to a gray dealer for the Sky. I’m almost glad it didn’t come in because the look on his face was Priceless.

I have got 2 this month and one more on way once I decide but like el heffe said. Present to myself. I guess they aren’t presents when I sold most of my old collection to get new ones. But it feels like Xmas.
