I wanted a Sub Date before I discovered the Steelfish. It's been my daily watch for 5 years now.

I special ordered the black face and they only made this model at 42mm in 2005. Breitling lost it after this with the SO, they could have made a classic if they had stayed on track.

I agree. I have the 44mm version and love it. The models since then have been, well.....less than desirable shall we say. Rubber bezels??? SMDH

The SO Heritage watches are nice though. And of course the Chronomat line is a classic but I'm not wild about the square in the middle of the dials. I'll be keeping and wearing my Steelfish for a LONG time!

This particular Breitling doesn't get much love even from fans but I like it. This picture isn't doing it any justice though.

Although I don't have one yet, I am a fan of Breitling and there are two on my current wish list. A Chronomat 44 and a Blackbird 44. Both are awesome watches!

I'm pretty new to these forums and actually joined because I was suggested to contact 2 dealers you guys have about buying a Breitling (I'm thinking about buying a Cobra Yellow dial Avenger II SEAWOLF on stainless steel)

I actually like the looks of the Avenger II series (all of them) way more than any Rolex or Omega, that probably makes me a 1%er (not the billionaire kind), but I'm going to be me, and not care what others do/like

My Avenger II GMT on a new Bob's blue suede strap.
It's been keeping very accurate time to the tune of losing just 1 second in the last 80 hours.
Most logical!
