SS Sky-Dweller. Blue, Black, White ratio

Hi Guys

I will be getting my Black Sky-D tomorrow. I am getting super excited. Lately, I have seen a number of Black dial shown on the forum. Which made me wonder, what's the ratio of blue, black, and white dial that Rolex produces?
Maybe every 2 black or white, you see a blue?
Let's do a poll on this. Which color dial do you have?

Congrats David! I also don't own one. I think they all look great but I would choose the white for myself.

Thanks guys.
Maybe I should start another thread asking which color do you prefer.

Congratulations!!! I wouldn't be surprised if on the forum their are more Blue than others as this group tends to be enthusiasts as opposed to regular wearers. Of course there are the TT gold dials as well!

I'm pretty certain there already is one.

An excited Tuesday awaits. It would be interesting to know the ratios. I suspect Rolex puts them out in equal numbers. I’ve seen way more blue on this forum than white or black. It’s only in the last few months that I’ve seen TRF members wearing black and white.

Exactly 2 blue to 1 black and 1 white. My assumptions are.

1. black dial and white dial Sky-D are sitting in dealer cases that no one wants to buy (which I highly doubt)

2. Many black and white dial are flipped and grey sellers are sitting on them.

3. Rolex really makes a lot more blue dials then the other 2.

4. the small poll is not a good representation of actual quantities.

I didn’t vote either but my choice would be blue, followed by white and then black.

I have a 40mm Polar White Explorer II. I like the watch and think it is very nice. But for Sky-D, the black and blue sunburst dial is just mesmerizing to me.

I don’t think there is a bad choice. It depends on the collection and your personal style. Each color represents the watch very well.

There is no bad choice. All are winners. This thread is just trying to figure the ratio, how many blue, black and white dials are out there.

I'm surprised there are that many. Incomings are under 60. There must be a large number who have been holding back with their incomings!!!

Here's my blue recently photographed!!!

I don't know if it is the least popular OR actually the fewest produced by Rolex. Because I highly doubt that dealers have them sitting in the case that no one wants to buy.
