I never wear a watch at the gym
I avoid showing my watches off like that, unless you want someone to pick your locker
It just strikes into someones eye wearing a rolex in the gym
Second , a NATO will absorb your body liquids and will end up been a nest for various bacteria
Third, you are killing the SD with the NATO, it will not work BUT its your watch your rules

x2. Ditch the Nato. Just my opinion. And get a Casio for the gym. Again, just my opinion. And you did ask.

Do whatever makes you happy but I just can't seem to get into that look. It's a beautiful and dressy watch and the NATO strap is too casual. It's like a nicely tailored suit with a short sleeve dress shirt.

Some people's efforts to be comfortable are making the rest of us uncomfortable. Seriously, go to Wal-Mart and by some short pants that do not have an elastic waist. Then we will gladly give you our collective blessing to wear your two-toned Rolex to work.

Fellas, everyone free to voice their opinion or criticism, I’m ok with that. It’s interesting that some even like it lol. Personally I like it but won’t want to be found dead wearing that.

On separate note, I don’t wear gym shorts nor going to public gym, have own gym at home.

It’s your watch
You can do what you want with it
It’s just not my taste and I personally would t put a nato on a skydweller

Beautiful watch though!

I'd rather put that on a thick brown leather strap, but whatever you choose... Just Make It Work.

I'm a fan of NATO straps but not the SD on one.

I wear track pants (Nike and Adidas running pants) almost daily with a Rolex. Granted, mine are all SS but I feel they work well with sports apparel.

Wearing a SkyDweller in the gym screams, LOOOOOKK AAATTT MEEEEEEE while benching 90 pounds.

If you can walk the walk, do whatever you want.
