5370p incoming and a poll!

Love the 5370p. Enamel dial fabulous but difficult to capture easily.

So which do you prefer of my two incomings this week?

I can't answer which I prefer....just wow though. Super incoming...the depth/3d on the caseback on the lange is orgasmic.

The 5370p is my unattainable grail, but man, the is DPT looking pretty indismissable right now, even from the front

Whoa! Tremendous. Not like I’ve ever handled either but I assume the Patek is thinner and so that’s my pick

Lange all day, and twice on a Sunday!

Both beautiful watches though, congrats.

Thanks everyone. Appreciate the comments. Will be interested in how the vote turns out but conscious this is a Patek sub-forum!

Wow...

I voted for the Patek because I think that the dial of the Lange may be too busy for my not-so-excellent-anymore eyesight. Not that I will ever have this problem, though...

The 5370p is my favorite Patek for sure. Just perfect. Congratulations and wear them in the best of health.

Roger has had a few of these epic incomings - i think the one with three patek grand complications was something even more special.

Good memory! 5270r 5270g 5271p and 5970p in one go in summer 2016 is proving hard to top!

I prefer the Patek since I love the 5370P. That Lange is a beast and the movement is just stunning. Awaiting to hear your assessment of both pieces.

Congrats! Both are stunning indeed and I would lean towards 5370 as it’s easier to read...for me atleast.

I really love this 5370P Roger! Came back for more. I know you got a great deal on it. What do you think is the reason for it selling for so much less than retail? It seems it has all of the elements to be an absolute classic!

If it gets discontinued soon then it will be a classic. If they over produce like the 5270 it will be many years before it starts to go up in value. Just my opinion of course but Patek have invested so much in their full in house movements the days of genuinely limited production are behind us I reckon. As for the price of this particular one it does seem to be below market which, as the buyer, suits me fine!

Indeed! I think you did very well and the black enamel dial is to die for. The MSRP is just way too high and I guess they have made more than initially promised. However I agree I would expect it to be discontinued soon and there is nothing else quite like it (a splits not paired with a perpetual unlike in the style of 5004 and 5204) from patek in the last 40 years so have to imagine it will come back in the market big time.

Enjoy!!

An epic incoming week for sure Roger. I have to side with the 5370P on this one. It is truly a grail of mine in every sense of the word.

Love the black email dial of course.

Enjoy in good health
