Salesperson took a partial deposit which I was fine doing and in hindsight was probably the only reason I got it so soon. Told me I was the last one to get the 5711 before policies changed.

I'm sure the salesperson jumped through many hoops to get me the watch and am very appreciative of that, won my family's business for any future patek!

Didn't expect to be wearing it this soon and have fallen in love with it! Hardly notice it's there its so comfortable.
Congrats on the 5711. One of the ADs I deal with also said about a policy change which is due soon. They said they would only deliver 5711A, 5712A to customers who had a purchase history with a spending pattern over the last 2 years or others who can show they have at least 2 Pateks. They also mentioned retaining the certificate of origin for 2 years for 5711A and 5712A.

I got the certificate at purchase. Although I wouldn’t mind if they held since I won’t be selling this beauty!

Thanks everyone!
