Icon7 Calibre 3255 data

Put DD40 with 3255 movement on Timegrapher, evidencing its solid performance. No more than +/- 2 s/d in any position, 0 - .2 ms beat error. Real world performance striking; crown down overnight offsets miniscule daily gain on my wrist to deliver nearly perfect accuracy week-in/week-out. Attached shot in crown down position oscillates between 0 and -1 second per day. Amplitude healthy at 277 dial up (mostly wound; ~60 degrees F).

P.S. Calibre 3255 Lift Angle 55 degrees according to Rolex service center.

Most Rolex movements perform well and within spec. What I would like to know is when does your day and date changeover?

I'm trying to tally up a table of number of ppl who have this issue of delayed day/date changes with the new 3255 movement and how many NEW occurrences.

Day date changeover

Just tested changeover by manual advance. It happens for both simultaneously and instantaneously just after midnight (within a minute or so by minute hand). Then I tried it running. It occurred at about 12:05:40. Does that seem slow? That seems to me to be about what I remember from prior Rolexes I have owned.

P.S. You mentioned "new" occurrences. This watch is not brand new, I got it for Christmas 2015.

Thanks for the reply. Manual change is fine in pretty much all of them. Its when you let it auto advance there has been alot of erratic ones.

Mind if you keep an eye on it for a few days and report back? Few members have had issues of changine at like 00:05 one night and then next it will be like 00:20 and sometimes as late as 01:30am.

So far I know about 8 instances of where ppl have had issues. Rolex know about it and supposedly the fix is to add some additional parts but I think I'm in the same opinion that nobody wants RSC to open up a new watch to fix this issue. I personally think Rolex should recall all the ones they havent fixed and fix them first before letting ADs sell the new DD40.
