I scream for ice cream!!!!
Here we have a new ice cream in town, its called Ben & Jerry's.
Some of you might be familiar with this brand it is in a very small container 450ml (1 pint) and it costs $12 a tub. It is totally prohibitive in price given it's very small size. I just bought this container: Some might say this is the Rolex of ice cream Don't get me wrong I love ice cream but at this price for this little........I (s)cream At a recent GTG this was my desert: Photo courtesy of Swatty It was vanilla with Mars Bar sauce....delicious I am an ice cream freak.......how about you????

I like ice cream as well and B&J is not a bad one but far from being the Rolex of ice cream.
Personally I like Haagen-Dazs, Dryer's/Edy and Breyers better. |

Now that I never knew Steve. Would have got some kulfi at the Indian restaurant when you were here. :)
You tried that? I'm not a big ice cream eater have to say.....although we were at friends for lunch today and they had some home made for dessert which was delicious..... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Norgan Daas is a brand we have here most akin to Haagen Daas and it costs about $8 per litre compared to Ben & Jerrys at $12 for 473ml (less than half a litre). Its amazing in the USA there is about 138 different flavours of Ben & Jerrys, quite a remarkable range, there is now way they could even fit a fridge that size in the supermarket here It is very sweet stuff these gourmet ice creams so I can't eat much at any one time.

In Europe there is a brand called GB who makes a Grand Marnier ice cream that is to die for.
Can't wait to eat it again. |

I love Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Buns ice cream. It is Caramel Ice Cream with Cinnamon Bun Dough & a Cinnamon Streusel Swirl. Their pomegranate sorbet is awesome as well.

When the world ends, I want to be in Australia, as it appears that you're about 20 years behind the rest of us.... You're just now getting Ben & Jerry?
it is delicious indeed. I like Cherry Garcia and White Russian (although it appears it was discontinued )

When i was in singapore, i was under the impression that ice cream wasnt very nice when compared to australia. However, when i tried haagen dazs (singapore), and havent looked back since.
until today, i still cannot find an ice cream that can compare to haagen dazs.

I too enjoy Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I'm partial to Cherry Garcia(named after Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead)and right now I have Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. I will say that Starbuck's ice cream is really good as well!!!
