Seven Miles Down

First edition (1961) copy of Seven Miles Down by Jacques Piccard and Robert S. Dietz, published by Putnam in 1961. Of interest for you Rolex Submariner, Sea-Dweller and DSSD owners & collectors, this is the story of the vehicle that the Rolex Deep Sea Special rode to the depths strapped to, the Bathyscaph "Trieste".

The book itself and linen cover are in perfect condition, the slipcover is worn around the edges from a few moves across the country but the inside is perfect, no bent page corners, soiled edges, etc. I don't think the book has actually ever been read of flipped through as it simply sat on my fathers bookshelf for decades after he purchased it when it came out.

The cheapest I can find a worn first edition on Amazon for is $395, so how about $350 shipped within the lower-48 United States. PM if interested:
