Panerai .. Model selection.
I have selected the following models :
PAM 104 PAM 164 PAM 088 PAM 090 Important are 44mm s/s case, strap and date. Any other models that I perhaps should include ? Any model from the selected ones that you prefer ? I have placed my name on all the waiting lists,at all of the ADs in the country. |

The 88 looks fantastic, but to me, Panerai means simplicity and a timepiece true to its roots, so if I were to only own one, I would want the 183 or the 111. But, if I were going to have two, an 88 or especially 98 would be on my wish list if I could afford another

Not sure of the model no., but I do like the one with the date, power reserve indicator and on its original fabulous steel bracelet.
That bracelet itself is just so superbly constructed. JJ

My list:
1. 104 2. 090 3. 164 4. 088 But they all look great. If you can live without the date feature: 111 and 112. -David |

They are all excellent choices. Myself I would get the 88 as I feel it's a great all around choice. Very functional and amazing to look at. I love the hands on the 88 as well.

The 111 and 183 is nice,but have no date.The 88 is a beauty !! The 98 is too expensive !! The 88 is a strong contender,but may have to wait a while,seems its scarce.

The 88 is a great call, and by far my favorite Panerai!

My AD had both the 104 and 164 for me to look at as those were the only 2 on my list. I like the brushed case of the 164 better and the actual numbers over the sticks. I did ditch the gator strap though. Great watch has not left my wrist in the 2 weeks of owner ship. Looking to get another one now sights set on the 183.
