Is it a limited production Panerai ?

What was the first year of production ?

Most pictures show the "Black Seal" @ the 6 oclock position,in their brochure its pictured at the 12 oclock position.Why ? Any significance in this ?

the 183 Black seal has only 3 years production runs and a grand total of only 4,500 pieces world wide.
I would say limited, but not what they call a "limited edition". For an LE, they only run for one year.
