Panerai and Air-King photos!

I've posted this thread in the Non-Rolex area as it contains photos of my 005 and Launch Mini's AK... since the last time I did this my thread turned into a total fiasco... I kindly ask people to keep any negative comments they have to themselves... this is my chance to show the 2 watches together and thank my good friend.... thankyou in advance

So.. I've had the AK a few weeks now and have pretty much worn it nearly every day... whether I've worn it to work, or out shopping or in the evenings at home.. it's not stopped once and is keeping great time, its only lost a few seconds since i set it... pretty good for 15+ years and not a service.

The watch is gorgeous, the dial with those silver markers and striking silver hands is really beautiful... its the perfect accompaniment to the 005.

Needless to say, I'll be buying LM's AK from him as I simply couldnt do without now.

I find switching from watch to watch a breeze and dont notice the different sizes at all... I enjoy both watches equally.

So here's a few photos of them together, the AK is a very hard watch to photograph, it's incredibly reflective! Oh and my PC is kaput so I've got none of my usual SW programs to do much with the shots... here's a few roughies.

John my friend, thanks again for letting me 'try before I buy' I'm still totally stoked at your gesture hope you had a great weekend!!!

Looks good Amanda. I switch between my Sub Date, 104 and Breitling Chronomat Evolution all the time with no problem.

Amanda - those are two really great watches. I also share your feeling that owning different size watches is a good thing. Different looks for different moods and occasions. Larry.

Now that's a silly comment to make, Prezzie. She's back and that's all that matters. I'm happy to see her posting again.

Great combo Amanda! I enjoy having a smaller watch in my collection too....sometimes the Explorer is just the right size for the occasion.

If you can't add anything at all to the thread I suggest you skip it all together. Your inane posts are growing more than a little tiresome to many of the members of this forum.

Just ignore it Amanda, trust me it is not worth wearing the paint on your keys out over. Great watches.

Glad you're liking the AK Amanda.
No rush at all. Wear it and enjoy it. It was meant to be worn, but wasn't getting the proper wrist time at my place, so glad you are making it happy again.

Amanda,

You have some great taste! I can see how those 2 beauties can cover your different moods... from outdoors and active Panerai to dressy and classy Rolex!
What a gentleman John is for lending you that beauty as well no?

Enjoy and please keep posting away, there is WAY too much testosteron on this board!
