Yeah, I've heard the Panny compulsion is pretty bad.
Nice watch, enjoy,

Panerai is one reason that Richmont is seeing profits

The large, uncluttered faces with amazing lume are very popular.
Very nice watch.

Mike - That is a stunning watch, and the band is super.

My question is, what makes that watch, in the micro-edition of 20, different from other Luminors? On the surface, it looks just like my own Luminor. Best, Larry.

Very Nice! I'm seriously considering a PAM for my next as well. On the fence between a 40mm or a 44mm and leather strap or SS Bracelet. Not sure of my wrist size but I'm 6ft 1in 212lbs. Would the 44mm be overkill? Again, smokin piece you have there...congrats!

Well, I'm 6' 195 lbs, and I had carried off a massive 45.5 mm OMEGA Planet Ocean pretty well....so I see no problem on how a 44 mm would look on you!!

This version was specially made for feretti who I think was the first Panerai dealer, there is more to it but here is some info.

What makes this watch so rare is that it was made in a special Micro edition of only 20 individually numbered watches. Each watch was made with a special edition strap, individually numbered to match each watch, and the strap is made from specially aged vintage leather. Also, the set is complemented with a leather belt which is adjustable and will fit up to a 42 inch waist from the same aged leather. IF that isn't enough, the set even comes with a special leather carry case to hold the watch, extra straps and a screwdriver. Oh and dont forget about the special 10 pound coffee table book with details teh exploits of teh Xo Mas flotilla special force divers, the original underwater demolition teams of WW I and WW II. This is a rare, seldome seen speical edition set that is nearly impossible to find......

Mike - Thanks for the great link. That was a super aquisition. There's something really great about having a limited edition watch. You know that you're one of only a handfull of owners, and if you decide to sell it down the road there will be a stampede! Congratulations... Larry.
