Hello,

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has ever dealt with Nicholas Hacko, he is based in Sydney, seems to be quite genuine.

Although I have heard rumours on this forum, nothing but hearsay...

Well, I always "Buy the seller before buying the watch", so therefore I would not buy from him.

Nick is without doubt a very knowledgeable watch maker, and he probably also is a good seller and has many nice pieces to offer.

I for my part only deal with sellers I like personally, though, and for that reason I would not make any deals with him.

That is also why I turned down a deal recently with another AD than my usual. I got bad service, and deal was off for me at that moment. Period!

A deal for me has to be pleasant all the way, and if I don't like the seller, I don't deal with him. That is what I meant with "buy the seller" in that respect.

He was a posting member here for a period of time however, he has left and is now frequenting another forum I believe.

Wibble, Hacko is gone and not a member here so, no need to stir up old dust and get the crowd sneezing. You could do a search on NICK HACKO and see what you come up with hopefully you will find what your looking for.

My only reasoning for "stirring the dust" was because I found his website and noticed he seems well regarded. I was going to do some business with him, but wanted to see if there were any other members who had bought watches from him.
