Rolex Tudor

Can you guys tell me if this model of the Tudor is a fake or legit. I went to the Tudor site and didnt see that particular watch. I really love the lok of the Daytona style, but just cant afford the hefty price tag. Currently I have a SS Sub and I wanted to add something new to my collection. They do say that it is 100% authentic. But thats what they all say. Thanks in advance.

Well it looks fine its from the 90s 79280 last of the real oyster
type cases but Tudor shield on crown. All Rolex oyster except for the very reliable and accurate Valjoux 7750 movement.

Looks real to me too, but I think it's late 90's in the post Tiger Woods era. Mine is from 1996 and it has the Rolex coronet on the crown.

Correct. Late 90's early 2K. It has the luminova dial, not trituim and the Tudor crown not Rolex.

I've had mine since 1996. All that's ever been done is routine servicing (clean and oil). Everything about it is Rolex except the movement, and since it's sold and serviced by Rolex, it's not exactly a dimestore movement. Also, until recently the Daytona used an "outsourced" movement, so the Tudor Chronograph has exactly as much Rolex content as a Daytona made before ~2001. To make a long story short, the Tudor Chronograph is a great watch!

Here's a pic of mine...

Try it, you'll like it!

I agree with Craig. I wear mine daily. Can't say enough great things about it.
As far as the ebay listing, I'm no expert but it looks legit to me.
