Help identifying watch
I am unsure as to how old it is, it was given to me this year from my grandma's old stuff. Just wondering what the value of it is etc. Thanks in advance. |

Welcome to TRF.
You could take it into any jeweler and ask to have the movement verified, However, I would be surprised if it were genuine.. A quick look at the lume markers and how they do not align with the numbers or sticks is not an error you are likely to see in an authentic Rolex.. And it appears the gold is "rubbing off" the solid gold links... Good luck.. |

Welcome to TRF!
It is a fake, sorry! Day-Date Rolex watches have NEVER been made in TT (steel and gold). The closest you would come to a "two-tone" look (well, rather "three-tone") on a Day-Date was the socalled "Tridor" bracelet that came on some Day-Dates. That bracelet (discontinued long ago) had middle links of one part yellow gold, one part rose gold and one part white gold.

It's more valuable as a thing to throw at stray cats than it is as a replica watch. Honestly, the best thing you can do is donate it to Goodwill and use the tax deduction.
