My first Rolex!

Hello,
I was on a mission to Rome couple weeks ago. The mission was to get my first Rolex. I already knew which one I wanted and why I wanted it. So I contacted couple of grey market guys on chrono24 and made an appointment. But then I decided to try my luck and wrote to ALL Rome ADs asking DO THEY HAVE THE BATMAN? And I got lucky, one of them had it. Maybe the watch is cooling down and it's easier to get it. I LOVE IT. Really enjoying it everyday. It makes me very happy.
So I have a couple of questions. First of all why AD didn't put my name on warranty card? Is it not necessary? I asked him about it and he said it's not. I hope my warranty is ok, also I have all the checks from credit cards. Second should I be worried about Batman running ~-1sec slow in day time I wear it? When I sleep I put him crown down or up and it catches up a bit. I like when watches run a bit fast and not slow (I think everybody does).

Congratulations!

I'm certainly not the most knowledgeable here but I'll have a go at answering your questions. Is the AD's name stamped on the warranty card? (And is it one listed on Rolex' website?) If yes, you have nothing to worry about. In fact, he helped you out in that if you are looking to sell, the new owner can put their name on the warranty card should it need service.

As for running 1 sec slow/day. Completely normal (and great running!). As you said you do, play around with resting positions at night and you can regulate it nightly.

Hope I was of some help. Congratulations again, enjoy, and wear in good health!

Actually for the world wide warranty you will need name AND adress on the card IF you send it to rolex. But if the AD can help you, which the often can cause they usually have a watch smith, then it usually won't be needed. I personally never sign my warranty cards cause the AD always helps

Congrats on one of the best modern pieces Rolex makes. No need to your have name on the card. The AD has swiped the card so it is covered by a 5 year warranty. Also watch is well within the -2/+2 Rolex warranty so it runs like a dream.

So can I write it by myself? How it should look like? My name and under it my full home address?

No need to write it now unless there is a problem and AD needs to send it away but then they will inform you and fill in your info

Yes, I won't fill now. But we don't have AD in Lithuania, so if something happens I will have to send it to service and I want to know how to fill it properly if I ever need to.
