I am still undecided, so that has to be a good sign, that my resolve is strengthening

Resolve to stick with what you have...or to make the move...?

I voted stay with what your have...and I'd work towards turning the 5127 into the 5146 at some point. 5167 is a "keeper" IMO...and comes from a guy who doesn't say that often.

Keep both. Don't do the trade.

One sport watch, one dress watch is a better decision.

Maybe keep 5167, trade 5127R for another dress watch in the future.

Thanks Brian.
Upgrading the 5127 to a 5146 would imo be a good move.

Well a spanner has been thrown right into the middle of my thinking.
On contacting a grey dealer to enquiry whether they had a R/G deployant.
They said that they didn't, but having bought from them twice before (5127R & 3940R) they informed me that they had just taken in a 3940J, would I be interested!

I have to admit, that the 3940, is probably my favourite Perpetual Calendar. And it was a sad day when, I had to sell it.

So, now I am in even more of a dilemma!

Congrats on a great looking watch. Never noticed the light and dark on the 24 hour indicator, is that a reflection or is it really another shade?

Major Congrats Tony! The 3940 is such a timeless reference. I wish mine had the day and night indicator and cleaner days of the month but mine has elements of the 3940 and 5140. I honestly don't think this watch wears as small as people think. Wear it in good health my friend

Congratulations on the 3940

It is a great looking watch with the revered Patek PC pedigree. I think you made an excellent decision in getting the 3940 over an AC.

Enjoy your new watch
