Aquanaut price in France?

Anyone have any idea what the price is for a 5167 on rubber in France? I have a friend going to Paris on vacation and if the price is about the same or less than Canada I may go for it. Canadian price is $18,000US + tax

I dont think price will be your issue. From what I hear they're nearly as scarce as the 5711.do you already have one lined up? If not, you could be waiting about a yr

Don't have one lined up yet. Will be making calls tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Perhaps an incoming if the stars align.

Forum member lapince will surely comment about the state of PP in France. Anyway France has 2 PP ADs in Paris and they both have very limited supply of sports watches. If you want a Calatrava or an Annual Calendar, they should have plenty of stock, but a 5167 may be a hit or miss (most likely a miss).

I have visited the Paris Salon multiple times and I have only had one pleasant encounter. Wempe Paris is a more pleasant store to visit.

So that your friend is not too disappointed, you may want to advise your friend to contact the two ADs ahead of time to check on their inventory.

If you could find one with the VAT refund it would be a decent deal.. Under $15,500 USD.

If the 5167 came in, would this be an add? Or what would you be getting rid of?

Not 100% sure but the milgauss gv would be going towards it. I still have the stickers on it as I am not sure about keeping that one in particular. I traded a bnib blnr and OP 39 for nos vacheron 49150 (2016) recently. So I would end up with D blue, Patek 5167, and VC 49150. Still waiting for fedex on the 49150...2 days late. Should be here monday.

Not a bad trio...sucks that the 49150 is late. Look forward to that incoming!

Have to say, 5167 is a great watch to have. Has become a favorite of mine (on strap...bracelet didn't last long with me)

I am in the minority here as I actually really like the bracelet. Either way it's a great watch.

Wempe had one in stock when I was in Paris, but they had it in the back. They brought it out after spending 20 mins trying on and talking Rolex.

Saw one this weekend in San Diego area. And a 5164. Preferred the travel time honestly.
