16528 vs. 1665 Collection Help

Would you rather have a U serial 16528 unpolished full set or a 8million serial 1655 unpolished full set?

I have a 16800 matt and spider, a 5513 spider, a 1680r, a 1655, a 1675, etc.

As i see it, my collection should consisted of a gmt, a sub, an explorer, and a Daytona......i think i may be lumping in the SD with the Sub.....

I would go with 1655 unpolished full set.

I have a full set 1665 Gt White and have been looking recently at selling/trading for a 16528. The 1665 is my daily, but it's getting too valuable to risk the knocks and bumps. A gold Daytona would be purely as a weekend watch. My favourite, is the early white face black rings as on steel or black face, definitely no diamonds. Interesting to hear others' views.

To the OP, I ask what (if any) purpose you have for these? If, like me, you wanted a yellow gold piece to match other accessories you own, well the answer is simple.

If you're looking at adding a full set piece to your collection that has the best investment upside, then the 1665 would be my recommendation.

BTW, the thread title mentions 1665, while the initial post says 1655. May want to edit accordingly. I was about to recommend you sell your existing 1655, then buy both of the full sets mentioned.

Sorry, meant the 1665. I have a 1655 that I adore. That is not going anywhere.
