It is very simple!

IT IS A FAKE!

Note the too large rims of the dial markers!

Pearl on bezel is looking strange.

Run away like hell!

(I reported it to go to WatchOut).

Bo I believe it looks good. Don´t forget it have a doomed
plastic crystal, then the markings looks like that.

Yeah, I already thought about that, but I still don't think it is real.

Bo there is a lot of different styled 5513 dials out there that are
genuine. The glossy SWISS dial with WG trims on a 5513 is one
of the rarest. I believe they made them a year or two.

I just love the different dials and I have always some spare in my safe.

I agree with Jocke on this one. Also, the seller is bona fide. I have purchased one of my nicest and most favoured vintage watches from Monster Time and also personally vistited there shop in Singapore so I have no problems with them, they definitely do not deal in fakes.

We have two Forum members (that I would have accepted a fake call from) who can't agree. One has shouted 'FAKE' and one has stated that it looks genuine.

IMO this situation is difficult for the sellers whose reputation is questioned and the potential buyers who are put off purchasing a possible collectors item.

cheers:

First of all there will always be different opinions on a forum.

Secondly, I merely state what I see on that pic (although admittedly shouting it). Now, judging from the pic provided and comparing it to the other pic that I posted, I still see too thick WG rims. Yes, the plexi crystal can distort things, but on the pic that I provided nothing is distorted and the WG rims are thinner.

Now, let's take the "Buy the seller" reasoning. I don't know Monstertime as such, but have surfed the site a couple of times and also had it in my bookmarks, I just noticed. Not knowing the seller, I turn to the pic provided.

But now that Steve and Ohlins has testimoned that the seller is legit, the watch is probably legit, too. But still: I am seeing what I am seeing.

Dial and watch is legit. Luminova service replacements. However you should take that into consideration when buying it as most collectors frown on vintage watches with luminova dials and hands.
