Oh yes - New Pam000
Hi everybody,
Just few weeks ago I posted my first Panerai 162 and already managed to buy second. I never imagined that will be able to wear anything but Sub but life is unpredictable and here I am. Last week my work sent me to Delhi where unexpectedly during lunch break I visited one of Panerai Boutique and spotted 000. Watch was still with the stickers absolutely unworn as according to the sales guy nobody was interested in piece which had no date and seconds . I was looking for 000 for some time but as it unobtainable in Singapore and Thailand I already lost hope that I will ever manage to find brand new one. Prepared to pay the ful list price I was pleasantly supprised that after bit of negotiations I was offered 25 % discount and 10 min later I walk away with this piece. Now initial impressions. What I like most is simplicity which is most welcome after one year of usage Breitling chronometer 44 GMT whith dozen hands and pushes. In past I was considering buying either Daytona or Explorer but the lack of date always prevented me from pulling the trigger. Now having the watch which has only hours and minutes is new expirence but so far I don't miss seconds at all. Date is challenging but if needed I use my phone The time will tell how long this love can last but somehow I have a good feeling about it as this piece will compliment my submariner and 162. Surprisingly my wife who absolutely does not care about watches complimented it and already mentioned that she could wear it when I will be wearing sub. Be careful of Italian designs as ladies can't resist them. It is too early for any serious review but I am planning to take this piece for family holiday to Koh Samui next week where among other activities I will take this beauty for some beach leasure and diving escapades. Once I am back I will try to share some more thoughts about wearability and overall impressions. Ok time for some photos: |

Congratulations thats a beautiful watch, I like the 000 the simplicity is stunning! Good choice you made. I have Rolex with date and my good lady has an air king and the explorer, she doesn't care for no date and I've worn her explorer and must admit I didn't miss date either.
For me the Panerai looks best without date so I think you have a great piece there and lovely photos too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congrats! The lack of a seconds hand and date makes the Zero perfect and clean, and the addition of that cool little logo just knocks it out of the park. My favorite and only Panerai.

Stunning watch, youve done well! For me it's between the 000 and the 112. Love the base models!

The Zero is a classic. Congrats on picking it up and good for you that you have some money left over to fund some straps!! Inspired by your post I think I'll wear my PAM tomorrow :)
