Apollo Soyuz - leather strap or stock bracelet

I really like the weight of the watch - but I can't stop wondering whether it would look better on a strap. Brown or black, alligator or no alligator - what do you guys prefer?

Ya, we'll get to the pictures soon - my wife and I just had the bracelets adjusted, so the modeling sessions will start shortly)

Looks like it's a 50/50 split so far. But after just scratching the bracelet at the gym - I'm leaning towards a strap, for the obvious reasons

Get a couple more scratches, then you will just enjoy the look of it.....leather will wear on a strap also. IMO it's not one or the other, learn to change between the strap and the bracelet with a simple bergeon tool and you can just wear as your mood chooses. Enjoy that bad boy, love this watch.

Thank you guys for taking the time to provide your opinions, much appreciated!
Good point about the strap - on my previous Omega it still had the original bracelet it came with when I sold it. I had that watch for about 12 years - so those bracelets can definitely take some abuse which leather strap wouldn't survive..

Just posted this standard Speedmaster on another thread. Give the leather strap a try, does make the overall weight significantly lighter.

Mine has had an alligator omega strap for about 4-5 yrs now... think it's a great way to wear this beautiful watch. So for me it would be strap over bracelet.

That is awesome - I definitely like the strap! Anybody else can post their pictures with the strap?
I saw quite a few different kinds of straps on ebay - but it's hard to tell what they would look like on a wrist with an actual watch..

My wife also prefers the bracelet - but I'm torn.. Also, wearing a strap means no more scratches on the original bracelet, ha!
