5711 Blue

Is it possible to find a 5711 blue dial at US AD? Or are you going to have to settle for a long waitlist?

My guess would be 6 months to a year if you got lucky. I really doubt you find one that is in stock. Start making phone calls.

No chance you'll find one sitting on a shelf but as mentioned if you get on a waitlist you should eventually get one.

I really like both watches, but I would have to pick the 5711. In my opinion, it is easily the best watch for most circumstances, but I would not wear it when a little abuse is inevitable. For those times, you need a Rolex or other beater.

It is possible but not likely anymore. Last year I walked into an AD that had a blue dial displayed and 6 months later they had a white dial, so it happens. Now the best advice is to call around.

I think the only way is to get it secondhand. I've seen some here in the reputable dealers in HK

Finding one AT the AD is slim to none. I spent an afternoon calling most dealers in the country and was able to get 1st on a list. Put a deposit down immediately and was told I should have one shortly.

As is standard with ADs. If you're a big spender, you're going to get your hands on the hard-to-obtain pieces much faster than others

Pretty much got laughed at in the HK ADs without an existing relationship. Had to enquire via a friend's family who had a long lasting relationship just to get on the waitlist. Even then - no idea how long the wait will be.

Having said that, retail price at the ADs in HK is HK$185k (US$23.8k), wheres grey dealers are selling for HK$228k+ (US$29.4k+). Grey market prices are completely nonsensical.

Michael Ashton in NYC, on Madison Avenue ,has a great collection of gently used PP's including a 5711 blue and pretty much the entire nautilus line for show in the window.
The 5711 is 35K- LMAO. It's been there for months.

They seem very hard to get at least in Europe. I've called around and am on a few waiting lists as an existing client.
